The counsellors at A Time 2 Talk support individuals, partners, family carers, family members and family friends. We offer counselling to support anyone who is facing the impact of life changing events such as the loss of independent living due to sight impairment, deterioration of mental health, mobility or moving into sheltered accommodation that can result in anxiety, depression and, or stress. Please be aware that Time2Talk can only provide counselling for people between the ages of 12-18, and up to 25 for those with special educations needs, who are from the Daventry District and South Northamptoshire areas. Time2Talk operate solely within Daventry and South Northamptonshire. We are not affiliated with any of the other Time2Talks across the country. Our official resigtered name is Daventry Information and Counselling Serivce but we have operated under the name of Time2Talk since the 1980s.

It provides emotional one-to-one support in the form of person-centred counselling and CBT. Time2Talk Counselling has taken on another project to help reduce the time clients have to wait for their first counselling session via their GP. Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Providers are recognising that clients are waiting far too long to be seen and need something more immediate. One particular PMI has agreed to offer a Structured Penny Dennis – Time2talk is my private counselling practice based in Wickford, Essex. I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and previously Registered Mental Health Nurse. She first set up Time2Talk Counselling in 2005, until her launch of Facet Therapy Ltd in 2014. We are raising funds at present to send out Christmas … St Mary's is able to offer Time2Talk counselling for any child who is currently on our roll. This counselling takes place every Tuesday, and is a one-to-one session with a trained and experienced counsellor (Sue Clubb). We only offer counselling with parental permission, and consent forms can be collected from the school office or Tara Kennedy. She works for Time2Talk Counselling and works in Meadows School for 1 day per week providing 2.5 tier counselling intervention to help young people find ways to understand thoughts and feelings that may be preventing them from getting the best from their lives.
